This module features a selection of high-level research seminars on emerging topics in climate physics, energy systems, and ecological transitions.
It combines expert lectures at ENS with talks from the Coriolis Seminar Series (École polytechnique, Energy4Climate), offering students broad exposure to recent advances in fundamental and applied science.
Topics vary yearly and may include: mesoscale energy transport, grid stability, ocean turbulence, low-carbon technologies (nuclear, hydrogen, photovoltaics), etc.
Assessment is based on a short critical review or oral presentation related to one of the lectures.
