The LabEX ICFP (International Centre for Fundamental Physics and its interfaces) has been providing this master as an integrated two-year program since 2012.
This master is intended for outstanding students, both French and international, wishing to obtain a first-class education in fundamental physics. Students benefit from the prominent standing of ENS Physics department, while enjoying a high-quality program conceived for those wishing to embrace a position not only in academia, but also in the increasing range of science-related career paths.
Courses are given in English.
Admission is done in the first or directly the second year. The call for applications is open in February :
The selection process is based upon :
a solid background in physics and mathematics
a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
English fluency (C1 level).
On a case-by-case assessment, the LabEx ENS-ICFP awards around 20 scholarships each year, on the basis of both financial situation (personal and family income, contributions) and previous studies abroad. It also opens up possible housing in university residence (CIUP).
Scholarship is awarded for one academic year, renewable for students following the two-year program and according to achievements.
