The flow of a classical fluid is often turbulent, involving rotational motion that is ultimately dissipated by viscosity. We ask what happens if we replace the classical fluid by a superfluid, in which there can be flow without viscous dissipation and in which rotational motion is severely restricted by quantum conditions.
We show that similar forms of turbulence can still exist, but with some important differences. There remain, however, a number of interesting unsolved problems that call for new theory and new experiments
